The Good Things In Life
Normally I post only when something is bothering me. I figured that for a change of pace I would post when good things are happening.
I'll start with El's family. El has 2 Sister and a Brother (not to mention all their spouses and children) back in the Philippines. El, El's Mom, and I had filled paperwork to bring El's Sister Edna, Nephew JJ, and Brother Emilio over to America. Everything has been approved, and the three of them will be arriving here in America this upcoming Sunday. I'm very excited, but no nearly as excited as El. She has not seen her Brother or Sister in over 10 years. El has never seen your Nephew JJ! I can't wait to meet them, and I know El is about to burst at the seems.
Another good thing is my Sister's marraige. My Sister Jaime is marrying her long time partner Dana. Jaime and Dana are custom made for each other. I'm very happy for both of them, and I think that the marraige is a good thing. I wish them the best of luck.
The very last good thing in life (and either the most important or least important depending on your standards in life) is the Red Sox in the World Series. This is really really cool. I remember when the Red Sox won in 2004. To be honest, living in Boston, and growing up here in Massachusetts, I never ever thought that I would see the Red Sox win a World Series. Not only did I see them win, but they are back there now, and have a pretty good chance to bring it all home. It would be cool if they could, as it would make all the Good Things In Life happen all right together!
