Service Dog Banned From School
A 12 year old epileptic boy named Andrew has been told by his school that he cannot bring his service dog, named Alaya, to school. Read the story here.
This kid can have upwards of 20 seizures a day. The dog is able to react to the seizure, and with a special collar that has a magnet on it, help reduce the effects of the seizure. HELP REDUCE THE EFFECTS OF THE SEIZURE! The school won't allow the dog who can HELP REDUCE THE EFFECTS OF THE SEIZURE! The uter stupidity on the part of the school is spectacular. How can someone seriously deprive this kid of his dog. I'm not an expert, but I was under the impression that if one has a service animal that it is welcome anywhere people are. This is truly and injustice. Someone, ACLU, Govenor, Somene, needs to step in and make sure that the dog is allowed in school!
