Too Good...Tell me it's not true!

Jericho Scott is a 9 year old. Like many his age he like to play baseball, more specifically he like to pitch. Scott has been banned from playing on his little league team because he is too good. Click HERE to read the full story.

Jericho Scott is the best pitcher in his league. This is what the "Everyone's A Winner" mind set has brought us to. When a player is the best, he is banned from playing. I've said this before, but when I went to school, there were only 3 outs in baseball. If you didn't get to bat in an inning before your team got 3 outs, you didn't get to bat.

We are not teaching our children any life lessons. Baseball is not the answer to the worlds problems, but it does teach some wonderful skills, communication, team work, practice, and self betterment. These are all lessons that are passing our children by, and they will be in for a rude awakening when they are a little older, and they don't get to "bat" at everything in life.
